- Ensure safety and Environment are adhered to as a priority
- Manage inventory cycle counts
- Manage the maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment
- Ensure SOPs & policy compliance in the department
- Submission of all daily, weekly and monthly reports on time
- Attend weekly GMP, SHE and AIB meetings
- Update meeting results on boards and share interpretation with the team
- Own stock counting processes – as per site requirements
- Address returns and rejected materials issues
- Report all incidents to the Logistics co-ordinator and Logistics Manager
- Investigate system and physical related queries with regards to materials
- Performance management and supervision of the team
- Discuss team training needs with HR
- Ensure sufficient communication to relevant parties before licenses expire (Forklifts or Electronic).
- Control self-assessments
- Relationship management with the team and other departments
- Ensure effective FIFO/FEFO management, stock location, and space utilization
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
- At least 3 years of stores and inventory experience of which a minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory function
- SAP experience is essential
- Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Qualification in Stores Management, Inventory Management, or Warehousing
- Logistics or Supply chain qualification is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
- Drivers license (EB/Code 8) required
- Valid forklift license
