job description - Showroom Consultant - Textile

  • Monthly sales targets met
     
  • Orders processed according to policy and procedures
     
  • Cross-selling products to Trade
     
  • Maintain showroom standards
     
  • Build productive relationships with customers (including customers of sales consultants)
     
  • Handle complaints and queries (customer & sales consultants)
     
  • Product allocations and stock levels managed at the showroom level
     
  • Consignment deliveries
     
  • Support team
     
  • Support the payment process
     
  • Ad hoc as per role and business requirements
     


 

Requirements

What we are looking for in you:
 

  • National Senior Certificate
     
  • Tertiary qualification in the related field is an advantage
     
  • Fluent in English and one other SA language (area dependent)
     
  • 3 years of sales experience in a retail or wholesale environment
     
  • Exposure to an interior design / décor / homeware environment is an advantage
     
  • Experience in coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage
