job description - Senior Strategic Procurement Specialist - Indirect
- Ensure the implementation of global and regional strategies according to category strategies maintaining ethical conduct in dealings with outside firms
- Coordinate and negotiate key supply programs and RfQ processes across multiple sites
- Ensure the effective implementation of agreed procurement processes and compliance of supplier base
- Develop and administer purchasing policies, procedures, and key supply programs
- Utilize procurement tools and processes based on global procurement strategies in a business partner-oriented mode of operation
- Foster cooperation with Regional Category Buyers regarding forecasting, pricing, and supplier development
- Manage claims on hub level and ensure escalation path if applicable
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance, identify areas for improvement and ensure effective and efficient supplier relationship management
- Collaborate with relevant internal interfaces to ensure seamless procurement processes and achieve optimal outcomes for the organization
What we expect
- Degree in Business Administration/ Supply Chain/ Finance /Business or similar tertiary qualification
- A minimum of 6 years strategic procurement experience is essential
- Good knowledge of procurement, negotiation, commercial understanding
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills and integrated system environment (SAP)
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
