- Document Management System via Intelex
- Implementation of programs as per Kerry Regional documents e.g. Food Fraud, Maintenance, Allergen Management
- Review customer and external standard requirements and ensure that requirements are documented.
- Attend Regional monthly Quality systems meetings and drive requirements with teams
- Track and report corrective action activity
- Conducting all external audits (required: co-manufacturer, external warehouse, laundry)
- Drive close out of NCRs from audits.
- Conduct annual gap assessments against all AIB, BRC, Yum!, and customer standards.
- Schedule and coordination of internal and external audits and lead external audits
- Review audit reports and action corrective and preventive plans for nonconformances
- Mock Recalls
- Monthly traceability exercises
- Monthly inspections of allergen program review
- Conduct audits as per schedule
- Conduct monthly facility inspection with the halal body (MJC)
- Monthly APMEA Quality System reporting
- Preparation and circulation of Monthly Food Safety Meeting communication pack and Minutes as well as Bi-annual Management review pack and minutes
- Update HACCP Plans from HACCP reviews
- Assist with the HACCP compliance process
- Create raw material risk assessment and review management of data thereof by raw materials analyst.
- Food Defence and Food Fraud System, Deputy Food Defence co-ordinator, Conduct TACCP, Conduct VACCP
- Pest Control Co-ordinator
- Interface management of the Pest control contractors
- Co-ordinate the required site activities about Pest Control
- Conduct annual risk assessments with Rentokil
- Review trends monthly and develop an action plan to reduce pest activity.
- Cleaning Service Co-ordinator
- Monitor the cleaning services conducted ensuring site requirements are met
- Conduct monthly audits with Servest
- Schedule high-level cleaning
- Completion of customer self-audit questionnaires
- Providing quality and food safety system guidance to the process area
- Play a role in quality and food safety continuous improvement project
- Produce bespoke training packages where required
- Delivery of training when required.
- Conduct annual Food safety inductions
- Daily collection, review, and reporting of glass, plastic, and ceramics inspections
- Training of quality team on SAP use
- Troubleshooting on the system and assisting lab staff when required
- Raising SAP tickets for quality system errors
- Attend monthly SAP meetings and review any changes to the system applicable to the site. Implement improvements where applicable to the system process
- Review COA reports with analysts and advise what errors are and actions to be completed.
- Change Management, Co-ordinate, and track process change management, Conduct risk assessments
- Back up for NPIs
- Major Maintenance risk assessments
- Assist with Quality investigations
Qualifications and skills
- Completed National Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree Quality Manager (advantageous)
- 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably within a food manufacturing plant
- HACCP Knowledge
- Internal Audit Knowledge
