Platform Engineering IICSG

• You will report to the Senior Manager Platform Engineering to install, maintain, and upgrade internal/external computer hardware and software systems to deliver CSG's solution offerings.
• Under guidance, support the development team in releases and promotions (including core upgrades) from development through to production, as defined by Best Practices
• Check and validate servers against CSG documents, before completing any installation, to guarantee the correct configuration and requirements.
• Assist in the identification and analysis of the internal/external client's technical requirements.
• Under guidance, perform installation, configuration, and upgrades to any supporting third-party software used in supporting CSG products on internal servers, virtual machines, private and public cloud(s), and container platforms.
• Communicate with customers and colleagues alike.
• Produce and maintain documentation on projects and research as assigned.

You should have

• Degree/Diploma in IT/Computer Science Certification in AWS or Azure public cloud would be a benefit
• Familiarity with practical Agile development methodologies, including version control, release processes, and delivery pipelines (DevOps). Familiarity with required coding and scripting languages, and version control systems.
• 2+ Years, general Unix/Linux knowledge, fundamental computing required. Software development experience
• Knowledge of programming/code reading and systems analysis procedures
• Experience with Linux operating environment, networking/protocols , Cloud(s), and container technologies.
