To support in ensuring that production processes are in line with the Global Unit Measure (GUM) standard to measure company productivity and efficiencies thereby ensuring the competitiveness of the organization.
To support in analyzing equipment to ensure specific performance and optimum utilization.
To conduct time studies on all processes and equipment to increase efficiencies.
assist with facility design to optimize processes.
To assist in mapping out the current operational processes and recommend the best optimum process design.
To establish new process design from customer base information.

Minimum requirements

Grade 12/NQF Level 4 (Essential)
National Diploma in Industrial engineering (Essential)
B. Tech in Industrial Engineering (Desirable)
1 Year experience in conducting Time Studies on various operations/Industries (Essential)
At least 1 year experience in Facilities layout/design (Essential)
2 Years of working experience in the use of Quality Core tools (i.e. FMEA, control plans; APQP) (Desirable)
