job description - Junior Process Engineer
- To support in ensuring that production processes are in line with the Global Unit Measure (GUM) standard to measure company productivity and efficiencies thereby ensuring the competitiveness of the organization.
- To support in analyzing equipment to ensure specific performance and optimum utilization.
- To conduct time studies on all processes and equipment to increase efficiencies.
- assist with facility design to optimize processes.
- To assist in mapping out the current operational processes and recommend the best optimum process design.
- To establish new process design from customer base information.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12/NQF Level 4 (Essential)
- National Diploma in Industrial engineering (Essential)
- B. Tech in Industrial Engineering (Desirable)
- 1 Year experience in conducting Time Studies on various operations/Industries (Essential)
- At least 1 year experience in Facilities layout/design (Essential)
- 2 Years of working experience in the use of Quality Core tools (i.e. FMEA, control plans; APQP) (Desirable)
