Commercial Manager

• To optimise commercial opportunities for the projects/region they are assigned to whilst assisting in mitigating and managing contractual risks during and after the finalisation of all contracts. In addition, hereto to assist the Commercial Director to control commercial administrative responsibilities in respect of the division.

Requirements

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or Property Development (Honours) Good working knowledge of different types of contracts and the demands of each. SACQSP Professional registration In depth knowledge and understanding of Construction Computer Software (CCS). Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively use a variety of estimating, scheduling and reporting software tools. Sound knowledge of standard contract documents and specifications. Good interpersonal skills and time management skills. Knowledgeable about financial and commercial matters; focuses on costs, profits, markets, new business opportunities and activities which will bring the largest return.
