Our client has a current opportunity for a B-BBEE Practitioner on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Gqeberha (PE).

Ideal Candidate:

• Ideal candidate would have 5-10 years' experience in B-BBEE Consulting, having formerly spent time at a Verification Agency or worked very closely with a Verification Agent.
• Candidates with only Verification Agent experience will be considered if they a minimum of 5 years' experience under SANAS as well as management experience within the Verification Agent.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years' relevant work experience in:
• B-BBEE Experience in Consulting / SANAS Verification Agency AND
• A Commerce Degree

Other Requirements:

• Experience with MANTIS calculator and BEE Manager
• Demonstrated Client Focus and superior communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in B-BBEE, including dti Codes of Good Practice, Sector Charters, detailed reporting, policy review and verification
• Superior technical expertise in the interpretation and application of BEE legislation, including all elements of the dti Codes, particularly ownership
• Experience with BEE systems analysis and strategy creation
• Research experience, especially in business related topics
• Experience with managing a team
• Experience with Excel & PowerPoint
• Project Management experience
• Experience with managing a team, clients or subcontractors
• Experience with Excel & PowerPoint
• Previous Consulting experience, especially in Management Consulting, is an advantage

The B-BBEE Practitioner will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Ensuring that the BEE Team produces correct, timeous, strategically sound and accurate calculations, analysis, client responses and verifications that are in the best interests of the client
• Ensure that all aspects of the technical work are checked and verified before any feedback is communicated to clients
• Liaise directly with portfolio clients and manage all portfolio clients interactions, including for verification and consulting work
• Apply specialist knowledge ito the DTI Codes of Practice and other relevant Legislation regarding BEE in order to produce the best result for the client
• Be able to communicate effectively with client teams, project teams and other stakeholders in both verbal and written formats
• Be able to apply strategic thinking to government legislation, solving client problems and developing value-adding strategies which align BEE legislation and objectives, the spirit of transformation and client's business strategies
• Identifying and structuring problems in general, developing the analytics required.
