Minimum Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Public Administration or Stakeholder Relations.; A minimum of 3 years supervisory level experience.
Recommendation
- A valid (Code B or higher) driving license.

Key Performance Areas
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, policies, and systems for the JDMA Programme; Oversee and ensure the provision of the secretariat and administrative function for all District/Metro JDMA coordinating structure meetings and forums; Oversee and ensure the provision of administrative support for the JDMA team(s); People management.
Competencies
- Knowledge of the following: All spheres of government and all agents and stakeholders; The IDP and related planning process Knowledge and understanding of the program and project management; Applicable policies, strategies, legislation, guidelines standards procedures & best practice; Municipal integrated development planning, performance management, and development planning at all three spheres of government; The constitutional, institutional and developmental circumstances of municipalities in the Western Cape; Procurement and tendering processes; Development, strategy management and strategy monitoring and review processes; Modern systems of governance and administration; Public service procedures, processes, and systems; Global, regional and local political, economic and social affairs impacting on the provincial government of the Western Cape. Skills needed: Proven computer literacy (MS Office); Communication (written and verbal); Time management, planning, and organizing; Report writing; Report writing; Leading and supervising; Analysing. Abilities: Deciding and initiating action; Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
