APE Sales Engineer - Jet ParkAtlas Copco

• Our company is looking for a Sales engineer to develop the Portable Air business within the Southern African region. The responsibilities will include working closely with customers and our dealer network on primarily drilling and blasting related applications within the Mining, Construction, Rental, Industrial and Oil and Gas segments.
• To be successful in this role you will need an in depth understanding of diesel and electric mobile compressors applications and related tools, accessories and cloud for customers (C4C).

What we expect of you?

• Proven experience in the sizing and total cost of ownership calculations for mobile compressed air applications such as drilling, breaking and blasting.  
• Play an integral part in the regional business development strategy for the Portable Air Division. 
• Offer application support to our dealers and customers within the Southern African region. 
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and CRM (C4C and SAP) system.
• Be dynamic, determined and results driven with the ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Committed to achieving the goals and plans as set out and agreed on by the division. 
• Contract preparation and negotiation for all prospective orders. 
• Continually building relationships with new and existing clients whilst promoting air and sustainability solutions within the field. 
• A valid driver’s licence and passport for possible local and regional travel within Southern Africa will be required.
• Educational Qualifications. Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualifications would be advantageous.
